Kay Holland (kay@hollandart.io) is an industry animator, illustrator, writer, and corgi-obsessive hailing from Kansas. As a student at the Univeristy of Kansas, they received awards for their work on the animatic for Gigi the Gamer Girl, and the virtual-reality music video Feeling Green, both of which offer positive commentary and representation for LBTQ+ audiences. As Freakydinks Publishing, Kay co-wrote and illustrated the comic Saint of Blades. They are an alumn of the WarnerMedia Access Early Career Bootcamp and work professionally within many roles of the animation pipeline at studios including Titmouse and OVFX-Outlook. Their life goal is to tell stories that faithfully depict the experiences of the marginalized, offering nuance and color to conversations often dominated by extremes of thought.
